Grey revolution is a brand new concept.
It is based on fact that civilisation can't go further on the way to sustainable development and /or space conquest, without improving drastically standard educational level of the human population.
A way to increase educational level is to receive and give more and more knowledge, all life long, through the internet, and that not only by being student, but by also by becoming teacher .
Students may give lessons to younger people at school and can get paid for that.
Now, imagine that : anyone who master skills or knowledge can be a virtual teacher as well, at very low cost, compare to formal education.
How many times did we learned things we already know ? It was a lost of studying time for us when we were young, and a lost of time for our teachers too. We were in a classroom and teachers had no time to teach individually at each of the 20 student he had the charge of.
- The teaching programm of each individual can be defined on the base of each individual's free will, and each individual's specific lack of skills and knowledge.
-And now, through the internet, you can create virtual classrooms made, as an example, of 20 students from 20 different remote cities, and then teach them the specific lack of knowledge they have in common.
-Individuals can be easily defined and grouped together in virtual classrooms by their specific lack of skills and knowledge, everywhere, in a very short time and very low cost.
-And then, they can have all together a specific lesson given from a remote professional teacher, without having to leave their home.
It was not possible to do so before the existence of internet technology, but now it is a possibility.
Another big proposal is: better than asking to the unemployed to get a job , it would be better to keep them under benefits as long they study things, and as long they teach the things they studied and mastered.
-The little stuff teached to children, as well as to teen agers or adults, by seven billions unemployed humans, will become a large part of precious time saved for "official" teachers who can then become more efficient and specialized.
-More efficient and specialized teachers mean more good results for the students they have.
-And then more skilled and intelligent will come to the enterprise.
-And both, the nation and the enterprise will make profit of that, one way or another.
So, what to think about the benefit given to students, and the benefit given for the unemployed, who studies and teach what they master already ?
-This benefit must be seen as major investment made by both the enterprise and the tax payer to improve the educational level and skill level of anyone who might be employed.
Grey is the colour of the brain so I call this "grey revolution"
